REPORTING
Send the exact claim and the strongest available evidence.
A useful request includes the page URL, disputed statement, explanation, supporting source, relevant product version or date, and any conflict that may matter.
TRIAGE
Material harm and safety issues receive priority.
Security, legal, financial, identity, severe technical, or materially misleading errors are prioritized. Minor wording, formatting, or non-material freshness updates follow standard review.
OUTCOME
Corrections distinguish error from ordinary updates.
Material factual errors receive a correction note. Routine version refreshes, expanded context, stylistic edits, and newly available information may be logged as updates. Original publication and verification context remain visible where useful.
FAIRNESS
A correction request cannot purchase softer analysis.
Supported criticism, reasonable interpretation, and clearly labeled opinion are not removed solely because a vendor disagrees. New evidence is evaluated under the same standard applied before publication.
TRANSPARENCY
Meaningful changes should leave a trace.
Correction notes state what changed and why, while avoiding unnecessary exposure of reporters or sensitive security details.
